Our Philosophy

EVI was created to address a gap we saw repeatedly in clinical medicine. Women were doing all the right things; working hard, caring for others, staying active, but experiencing persistent symptoms such as digestive disruption, fatigue, stress reactivity, weight resistance, pain, and declining energy. Traditional healthcare often addresses issues in isolation. Wellness programs frequently lacked medical and evidence-based grounding.

EVI wellness exists at the intersection of both.

I am a licensed physician and clinician scientist with specialty medical training in internal medicine, gastroenterology, inflammatory bowel diseases and functional and integrative approaches. I work alongside coaches and PhD-level behavioral science experts to deliver a structured, systems-based, women’s health program grounded in physiology, evidence, and real-life implementation. Our work focuses on four interconnected systems that most influence women’s health performance:

  • Metabolic regulation

  • Digestive function

  • Hormonal physiology

  • Stress physiology

Rather than reacting to a single symptom, we help women understand how these systems interact and to design the right systems to support their health and wellbeing in a sustainable way.

EVI does not replace medical care. Participants are encouraged to maintain their primary healthcare providers. Our role is education, coaching, and behavior change support. This is preventive health for women who want clarity, structure, and long-term capacity, not quick fixes with no staying power.

Our Approach: A Systems Physiology Model

What often appears as stress, fatigue, or weight resistance is frequently the result of interacting physiological systems that have fallen out of balance.

EVI focuses on the physiological systems that interact to drive women’s health and performance. We work at the intersection of four core systems:

Energy regulation, insulin sensitivity, inflammatory load

Gut integrity, symptom patterns, nutrient assimilation

Reproductive, thyroid, stress-related hormone balance

Evidence-based mindfulness, autonomic balance, emotional regulation
